Super GeoAI Technology (SGA) is a rapidly growing AI startup transforming agriculture through cutting-edge geospatial AI solutions. As we continue to scale our AI infrastructure and operations, we are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to build, secure, and maintain our core systems.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SGA’s IT infrastructure, GPU computing environment, and security systems. This position is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our AI development and production environments.
You will work closely with our AI engineers and leadership team to support high-performance computing, secure data workflows, and company-wide IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & GPU Server Systems
- Set up, configure, and maintain the company’s high-performance GPU servers.
- Manage and maintain rack-mounted servers hosted on-premises or through colocation at our partner’s data center.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and hardware health.
- Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and storage systems.
Network, Domain & Access Management
- Configure and support employee laptops and workstations, ensuring security compliance.
- Set up and maintain the company’s domain, VPN, and secure network infrastructure.
- Manage user access control, permissions, and identity systems.
- Enforce endpoint security policies and secure remote access.
DevOps & Source Control Systems
- Administer and maintain GitLab infrastructure, including repositories, CI/CD access, and permissions.
- Implement source code and data backup strategies, along with access control policies.
- Support secure collaboration workflows for development teams.
Security & IT Operations
- Manage firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and VPNs to detect and prevent threats.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible to automate system configuration, strengthen security, and enforce policies.
- Establish and enforce IT security best practices across the organization.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and unauthorized access.
- Implement data protection, encryption, and compliance measures.
- Provide general IT support and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Document systems, workflows, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, DevOps, or IT security.
- Deep understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking protocols, and cloud security architectures.
- Hands-on experience managing Linux servers and GPU computing environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking, VPNs, firewalls, domain management, and access control systems.
- Experience with GitLab or similar version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with data backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is required.
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting AI models on production servers is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
