Super GeoAI Technology Inc. (SGA) is proud to announce that it has been selected by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) to lead a groundbreaking project focused on analyzing the impacts of climate change on crop insurance premiums using its cutting-edge AI-driven crop yield modeling technology.
This contract was awarded through a competitive process under RFP CB-104-6861871 posted on CanadaBuys. The objective of the project is to assess how shifting weather patterns and climate variability may influence crop yields, risks, and insurance premium structures across Canada.
Leveraging advanced machine learning, satellite imagery, and geospatial data integration, SGA’s technology enables precise modeling of in-season and long-term crop yield projections under various climate change scenarios. This analysis will support AAFC’s efforts to develop data-driven policies that ensure the sustainability and resilience of Canada’s agricultural insurance programs.
“We are honored to be selected by AAFC to apply our AI technology to such a critical national priority,” said Dr. Weiping Zeng, Founder and CEO of Super GeoAI Technology Inc. “By modeling how climate change impacts crop production, we can help government agencies and farmers make more informed decisions and build a more adaptive agri-insurance system.”
