Super GeoAI Technology Inc. (SGA) is pleased to announce its selection by the City of Saskatoon to provide advanced drone and LiDAR services for the 3D mapping and volume measurement of various material stockpiles, including snow piles, compost piles, and sand piles across municipal facilities.
Using a combination of high-resolution aerial orthophotography and LiDAR scanning, SGA’s technology will capture precise spatial data and generate interactive 3D maps of each site. This innovative solution will help the City improve the accuracy and efficiency of its material volume assessments—an important component of effective infrastructure management and planning.
“We are thrilled to work with the City of Saskatoon to bring cutting-edge geospatial AI and drone-based mapping technology to municipal operations,” said Dr. Weiping Zeng, Founder and CEO of Super GeoAI Technology Inc. “Our interactive 3D maps offer an intuitive and accurate way to track material usage, optimize resources, and improve reporting transparency.”
This project continues SGA’s expansion into municipal services, following its successful applications in agriculture, insurance, and environmental monitoring. The resulting 3D maps will not only support current operations but also provide a scalable framework for other public sector initiatives involving volumetric analysis and smart infrastructure planning.
