Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled 3D Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing 3D graphics applications, contributing to our core software products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write code and develop software applications and tools involving 3D graphics and visualization.
- Implement efficient algorithms for real-time rendering and 3D data visualization.
- Optimize 3D graphics performance across various platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in 3D graphics technology and industry trends.
- Work closely with the software development team and other stakeholders to deliver software projects on time.
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product managers to define and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in 3D graphics programming and development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with 3D graphics libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenGL, DirectX, Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Strong understanding of computer graphics principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Familiarity with shader programming and GPU computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) development.
- Experience with machine learning and AI technologies.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous 3D graphics projects.
- Knowledge of geospatial data and geographic information systems (GIS).
