Protein Industries Canada Invests $1+ Million in Super GeoAI’s AI-Driven Drone System

Super GeoAI Technology Inc. (SGA) is pleased to announce that Protein Industries Canada (PIC) is investing more than $1 million in an AI-driven drone technology project led by Super GeoAI in partnership with Southview Farms Ltd. The project represents a total investment of approximately $2.35 million, including $1.06 million from Protein Industries Canada.

The project will advance and commercialize SGA’s AI-powered grain inventory measurement technology, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), LiDAR, drones, and 3D digital twins to measure grain volumes in on-farm storage bins quickly and accurately. The technology is designed to reduce the need for manual bin climbing, improve worker safety, and provide reliable, data-driven grain inventory information for farmers and the broader agricultural value chain.

“Our partnership with Protein Industries Canada and Southview Farms will enable us to validate these technologies in real-world farm environments and accelerate their development and commercialization into practical solutions that improve farm operations and support Canada’s broader agri-food sector,” said Dr. Weiping Zeng, Founder & CEO of Super GeoAI Technology Inc.

Working closely with Southview Farms, SGA will conduct real-world testing and validation to ensure the technology addresses the practical needs of Canadian farmers. The project will also support the continued development of SGA’s AI and GeoAI capabilities and help bring innovative Canadian agricultural technologies from research and development to commercial deployment.

SGA sincerely appreciates the investment and continued support from Protein Industries Canada and the Government of Canada, as well as the collaboration of Southview Farms. This investment represents an important milestone in SGA’s mission to commercialize Canadian-made AI technologies that deliver measurable benefits to agriculture.

SGA remains committed to developing practical, scalable, and data-driven AI solutions that improve productivity, safety, efficiency, and decision-making while strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of Canada’s agriculture and agri-food sector.
